Experience the Integral Theory Conference

Welcome
In August 2008 John F. Kennedy University and Integral Institute hosted the first biennial Integral Theory Conference. This turned out to be an historic event. It sold out at 500 attendees over two months in advance, with over 300 people on a waitlist (and hundreds more who didn't even bother to put themselves on the waitlist). Over 30 countries were represented and we had 100 presentations from the leading scholar-practitioners within the emerging field of Integral Theory.
At the end of July 2010, John F. Kennedy University and Integral Institute will host the second biennial ITC. We expect ITC 2010 to sell out again this year. Not just because the first one did but because we incorporated a lot of the great feedback we got from attendees at ITC 2008. Feel free to use the "Contact Us" button to the left to provide us additional feedback as well. We are also excited to share with you this new website (a major improvement over our last one!).
The theme for this year's conference is: Enacting an Integral Future. Enaction refers to the individual and social practices we take up to interact with reality and which in fact bring reality into being through a participatory process of observer, mode of observation, and observed. The principle of enactment is foundational to the post-metaphysical commitments of Integral Theory. The theme will inform a number of elements of ITC 2010.

New to Integral Theory?
Integral Theory Overview
This primer to integral theory provides an up to date introduction and is an ideal piece to give to colleagues and friends who keep asking "What is 'integral theory' anyway?" For years we have heard people complain that there isn't a solid intro to the AQAL model. While Ken Wilber has penned a few introductions, these are often not viewed as ideal presentations for many professional contexts. Our hope is that this new introduction will help fill this gap, and offer individuals another resource to help communicate the basics of integral theory. This introduction is also written in a way that even seasoned integral practitioners will find illuminating, with new details of integral theory being explored.
