Refund Policy
John F. Kennedy University Purchase/Refund Policy: If participants cancel their registration prior to April 15th, they will receive all their monies minus $30 dollars and the processing fee. If participants cancel between April 15th and prior to July 1st, students will receive all of their monies minus $60 and their processing fee and professionals will receive all of their monies minus $130 and their processing fee. Cancellations after July 1st will be charged one-half of their payment plus their processing fee.
Please note: We have changed our cancellation policy, removing a "no refund" option for those who cancel late. We have done so because our experience last year was that many people cancelled late due to personal and family issues and this penalty seemed extreme. We ask, however, that participants be quite mindful about cancellation--it does inconvenience/upset the conference preparation process.
Acteva's Purchase/Refund Policy: Refunds and cancellations are provided only at the discretion of the organization hosting or sponsoring this event. Acteva.com issues credits only when directed to do so by the sponsoring organization. Contact refunds@acteva.com or the sponsoring organization for further details.
Policy on Ticket Trading or "Gifting"
John F. Kennedy University Ticket Trading/Gifting Policy: When participants cancel attendance, the ticket that they purchased is automatically transferred back to the ownership of JFK. JFK will then have the option of reselling that ticket to persons on the conference wait list. That is, if the conference is sold out and a person cancels, we will not allow that person to trade or "gift" his or her ticket to a friend, work colleague, or peer. You can contact mforman@jfku.edu if you have questions regarding this policy.
